Octavo, purple boards, pp. xii, 244. A review of his own career, by the great mime and actor, perhaps best known for his role in the classic French film, "Les Enfants du Paradis". Ownership signature of actress D[eirdre Hurst] du Prey in pencil on endpaper. Du Prey was an important student of Russian actor and drama teacher Michael Chekov, and edited some of his books for publication. Considerable darkening to the front free endpapers created by newspaper clippings, otherwise very good in a lightly soiled and worn dust jacket.
